Privacy Policy — Climbly

Climbly is a single-player and local pass-and-play board game. It is playable entirely offline as a guest. Signing in with Google is optional.

What we store

On your device only:

• Your sound, music, vibration, and game-rule settings.
• Per-player scores, win/loss records, and a local match history, keyed by the player names you enter.
• The player names you last used (to pre-fill the new-game screen).

This data lives in standard Android shared preferences, never leaves your device, and can be erased any time via Stats → reset or by uninstalling.

Optional Google Sign-In

If — and only if — you choose to tap "Sign in with Google", the app uses Google Sign-In to read your basic Google profile (name, email address, and profile photo). This is used solely to display who is signed in and to pre-fill your player name.

• We do not transmit your game data, scores, or history anywhere.
• We do not store your Google profile on any server — there is no server.
• You can play the entire game without ever signing in.
• You can sign out at any time from Profile → Sign out.

Google's handling of the sign-in itself is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

What we do NOT do

• No analytics or crash reporting.
• No selling or sharing of data with third parties.
• No background network activity. The only network use is the Google Sign-In flow you explicitly initiate.

Ads

This version of Climbly does not show ads and does not read or use advertising identifiers. If ads are introduced in a future version, this policy and the in-app disclosures will be updated, and the change will be reflected on the Google Play Store listing before that version ships.

Permissions used

• Vibration — haptic feedback (toggleable in Settings).
• Internet — used only to perform Google Sign-In when you request it.

Children

The game is appropriate for all ages. We do not collect personal data from anyone, including children under 13. Google Sign-In, if used, is subject to the account holder's own Google settings.
